God is Big

God is far greater than human beings can think or imagine. Despite that, we can examine and analyze to at least realize how much we do not know. That is the goal of this page.

With that accomplished, we can start to understand how unfathomably BIG God is.

Question:

How far away is 13 billion light-years in miles?

Let's do the math:

A light-year is the distance that light travels in one year.

Equation #1:

Distance in miles that God's Light travels in 1 year?

186,282 miles x (however many seconds are in 1 year)

60 seconds per minute

31,536,000 seconds per year

Equation #2:

186,282 miles every second times 31,536,000 seconds = 5,874,589,152,000 miles per year.

5,874,589,152,000 miles per year

763,696,589,760,000,000,000,000 miles away

So God has created things that are THAT far away that we are just now BEGINNING to see. WOW!!!

Lets look at it from another perspective:

How long would it take to count to that number at a rate of 2 numbers per
second?

2 x number of seconds in 1 year = how high we could count in one year
without a break?

We did the number of seconds per year before. 31,536,000

2 x 31,536,000 = 63,072,000
(counting for a whole year straight without a break)

Now lets see how many times that will go into the big number to figure number of years it would take.

763,696,589,760,000,000,000,000
divided by
63,072,000
equals:
1,210,833,000,000,000 years
(if we never took a break)

That is longer by orders of magnitude than the Earth has been here by current estimates.

Conculsion:

GOD IS BIG!!!

He is El Shaddai.

FAR GREATER THAN ANYTHING WE CAN EVER IMAGINE!!!
